More than 2,500 psychiatrists come to Maastricht every year to attend a scientific program, where the &#8216;hot topics&#8217; within psychiatry are discussed in 3 days. In addition to a plenary program where both international and national speakers and figureheads within psychiatry are given a platform, there is also room for experiential expertise and debates in which social themes are discussed that influence mental health. During the parallel program there is a wide range of various symposia, lively discussions and practical workshops.
