Join us on a two day trip and experience charming Maastricht – The Netherlands, and learn more about the recently renovated venue MECC Maastricht: the dream setting for your event! Our ‘home’ is in Maastricht, the most European city of the Netherlands. A compact and historic city with international appeal, right in the middle of Europe. Maastricht will surprise you with its medieval alleys, romantic squares, traditions, and joie de vivre. But don’t be fooled by the old, because innovation and science flourish here. It’s the only city where heart meets matter.

Due to its central location, Maastricht is easily accessible by train, car, and plane and is directly connected to different international hubs like Duesseldorf, Cologne, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. Find all of the city highlights in the compact city center on walking distance, and our state of the art venue nearby. With almost 6.000 hotel rooms and a strong event industry, Maastricht has everything in place to host your international event successfully. Event organisers consider Maastricht a destination city that pleasantly surprises delegates and exhibitors.

  • 12:00 – 12:30
    Arrival in Brussels South / Brussel Midi / Duesseldorf Airport.
  • 12:30 – 13:30
    Trip to Maastricht & check-in. We pick you up at your hotel and walk together to the lunch location.
  • 14:00 – 15:30
    Late Lunch.
  • 15:30 – 17:00
    Guided City Tour of Maastricht.
  • 17:00 – 18:30
    Boat Tour on the River Maas.
  • 18:30 – 19:30
    Free time.
  • 19:30
    Dinner in Maastricht – We pick you up at your hotel at 19:15 and walk together to the restaurant.
  • 22:00
    Return to hotel.

Friday 28 June

  • 06:00 – 10:00
    Breakfast at hotel.
  • 10:00 – 12:00
    Welcoming at MECC Maastricht | MECC Maastricht Tour | Introductions to the region of Maastricht. Taxi will pick you up at the hotel.
  • 12:00 – 13:30
    Lunch at Bar Bistro SAAM.
  • 13:30 – 16:30
    Free time.
  • 16:30 – 18:30
    Transfer from Maastricht to Brussels Train Station or Duesseldorf Airport.
  • 20:00 – 22:00
    Eurostar from Brussels Midi/Zuid to London St. Pancars or from Duesseldorf Airport to other destinations.
  • Optional:
    Nightlife for the long stayers.

Dresscode:
Throughout the day, opt for casual attire and ensure your footwear is comfortable. For the evening, the dress code is ‘smart casual.
