MECC Maastricht chooses DEMO Expo B.V. as new partner for electrics and rigging

October 7, 2025

Following a thorough selection process, MECC Maastricht has renewed its partnership with DEMO Expo B.V. for electrical and rigging services. MECC Maastricht and Demo Productions have previously worked successfully together as one of two regular suppliers of high-quality sound and lighting installations for events held in the halls.

The tendering process was carried out diligently with a view to transparency, an objective assessment and tailored to the needs of exhibitors and organisers alike. Of the various bids submitted, DEMO Expo emerged as the winner thanks to the strong value for money it offers, a well-thought-out operational approach and their solid anchoring in the regional network. DEMO Expo was the result of a joining of forces between DEMO Productions and Miac Electro.

Sven Wiertz, MECC Maastricht Operations Director: ‘This was the first time we actively surveyed the market for this type of procurement. It took nearly a year to go from the tender to the final approval, which says something about how carefully and thoroughly we tackled this process. In DEMO Expo, we have found a partner that is not only innovative and customer-oriented, but also has local roots. We look forward to a long-term cooperation that adds value for our organisers and exhibitors and naturally also for MECC Maastricht.’

Vianney Demollin, Director of DEMO Productions: ‘I am proud we have secured this exclusive cooperation with MECC Maastricht. It will enable us to combine our expertise in event production with MECC’s high-quality facilities and growth ambitions.’

At the same time, MECC Maastricht wishes to convey its appreciation to Mansveld Expotech. Their expertise, dependability and commitment have contributed substantially to the professional image and continuity of MECC Maastricht events. MECC Maastricht and Mansveld Expotech have concluded this partnership with mutual respect and appreciation and will continue to follow one another’s work in the sector with interest.
