By train
Maastricht is easily accessible by international train via TGV and/or Eurostar from major hubs within Europe, and via Liège, Brussels or Aachen, Amsterdam. High-speed trains ensure rapid connections between Liège and Aachen and Cologne, Brussels and Paris, among other cities.
Maastricht has three train stations: North, Central, and Randwyck. There is a direct train from Amsterdam Central Station to Maastricht every thirty minutes. This fast and comfortable mode of transport brings you to this attractive conference destination in less than two and a half hours.
Maastricht Randwyck is conveniently located next to MECC Maastricht. The Maastricht University Medical Center (MUMC+), Maastricht University, and several hotel facilities are also within walking distance of this station, making it the ideal arrival point for visitors to MECC Maastricht.
By three-country-train
Arriva, NS, and NMBS began operation of the Three- Country Train in 2024. This train connects the cities of Liège, Maastricht, Heerlen, and Aachen, offering passengers a direct link between three countries: Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
The train marks a significant milestone for international rail travel, making it easier to travel across the Euregion. Passengers can travel quickly and comfortably between these international cities without needing to change trains in Maastricht.

Maastricht is easily accessible by various motorways: E25/A2 (Amsterdam-Luxembourg), E40 (Cologne-Brussels), E42 (Liège-Paris), E314 (Maastricht-Aachen).
Uber is available in Maastricht. Uber also operates at the Maastricht Aachen Airport, making it convenient for travellers arriving or departing from the city. You can use the app to request rides to or from Maastricht and nearby regions, including airport pickups and drop-offs.
