On Sunday 5 October 2025, you can taste the pure flavours of Limburg at the regional products festival Proef je Regio – A regional food festival showcasing local producers and seasonal flavours). This free festival is an initiative of hospitality trade fair BBB Maastricht and Regional Food System Limburg (RVS-LB), bringing together local producers, culinary professionals and foodies.

The atmospheric market will introduce you to the products and stories of local and regional Limburg producers. Visitors can enjoy live cooking demonstrations with regional products and can join a wine tasting provided by Stichting BOB Mergelland.

Proef je Regio is part of Folie Culinaire and opens its doors exclusively to the general public on 5 October. An ode to local food and South Limburg’s culinary heritage.

This free event will be open from 12:00h to 16:00h.
